At 7:01 am on April 9, 2021, a Long March 4B carrier rocket was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite successfully entered the preset orbit.

The No.03 test satellite is mainly used for space environment exploration and related technology tests.

The mission is the 365th space flight for the Long March family of carrier rockets.
