On April 15, Philippine President Spokesman Harry Lok held a regular press conference.In response to a question from reporters, he was responding to the Japanese government's decision to dispose of waste water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident by ocean discharge.Harry Locke said that as a maritime nation, he wanted to invoke some principles of international environmental law to express his country's view: first, that the global ecosystem is integrated; second, that countries are interrelated; and third, that those who pollute must pay a price.He wants all nations to follow these principles.
